Bloody hell, that’s awful.
It’s bad enough here. My city is the smallest city in the U.K. pretty much (I won’t bore you with the history, it’s long , 2,000 years give or take a Tuesday) and has very little going on for n ightshift people of early birds heading off to the ‘ coal face’ .

Ended up sneaking out to a grocery store to buy some pot noodle style things. Problem with going out to get food is that in theory we don’t have a lunch break at work. In an agreement with the director, office employees have traded in their lunch break for the ability to start work 25 minutes later (this is common in Poland, trading in your break for shorter hours) . Everybody still gets food from the shop in the building, but actually going out to eat is a no-no.
